ABOUT ME
I’m Ísak Ólafsson, a biology student and a hobby photographer from Iceland. What has always fascinated me about photography is the ability to freeze moments on film, and it’s one of my main inspirations for taking photos.
I’ve been interested in photography for a long time now, but I started to take it more seriously when I got my dog about 4 years ago. I started taking photos of her to have memories of her as a puppy. Being a biology student nature has always been a big part of my life and since I now had a camera, I started taking photos of my nature adventures and the animals I was seeing around my home.
But my interests in photography go beyond only animal portraits. I really enjoy experimenting with abstract compositions and exploring the limitless possibilities of photography in general. I'm always looking for new ways to use my photography to connect with the world around me.
Take a look at my portfolio and feel free to contact me if you have any questions, thoughts or if you are looking for a photoshoot.
